Using Cheez-It crackers to play Scrabble.

Mrs. Anderson brought in an old adding machine to enhance our
reading program.   The students were reading a book called
"Now and Then", it was about how technology has changed.
Each child was able to manipulate the adding machine and keep their own copy of the receipt.  VERY COOL!

The students worked together in pairs to construct their own Alamo using Model Magic.

 After reading "Alvin Ailey's Dance School" all the students had an opportunity to try on my tap shoes to see how they feel and they sound that they make.   I think we have some future dancers in the class!  We also explored different types of dances using YOUTUBE.
